Here’s an after action report of a duel between two KönigTigers and three IS-2. The KönigTigers are from Warlord Games and the IS-2 are from JTFM Entreprises.
Deployment
Turn 1
The soviet tanks spread out
while the german tanks stay together
Turn 2
After the soviet movement, one of the german tanks is targeted but the shell doesn’t harm the tank.
The section leader moves between the trees.
The KönigsTiger 112 fires back at the soviet tank and destroys it.
The section leader fires at an IS-2 but missed it
Turn 3
The remaining soviet tanks seek the protection of the buildings
They fired at the german tank between the tress but both miss.
The german tanks fire back, one misses, the other hits but without damage.
Turn 4
The soviet tanks withdraw behind the buildings
The german tanks advance carefully.
The KönigsTiger 112 spots the rear of a soviet tank
And fires at it but without damaging it
Turn 5
The soviet tanks move to have a better line of sight
They have a great opportunity
but both miss !
The KönigsTiger 112 fires back and hit the track, immobolizing the soviet tanks.
The KönigsTiger 111 misses the soviet tank protect by the walls
Turn 6
Unable to move ths IS-2 102 fires at the german tank
And this time it hits the KoenigsTiger and damages it seriously.
The other IS-2 also hits the german tank but it doesn’t manage to damage it.
The wounded KönigsTiger withdraws.
The german section leader fires at the IS-2 and destroys it.
Turn 7
The IS-2 waits for the Tiger.
The german tank advances slowly and targets the last soviet tank.
And it doesn’t miss the opportunity.
